We Emiratis are, smart, ambitious, creative, innovative, risk-takers, intelligent and imaginative people. We are not a country of dumb, lazy and overpaid people we see ourselves as part of a new global world. That’s why I proudly launched this community to stop the bashing and show the rising. The United Arab Emirates, have had a lot the achievements and transformation but still there are many critics and often the facts used is wrong. We Emiratis maturely and out of nature don’t angrily reply or lash out at critics but we will not stay and see people demolish, vilify and create an imaginary distorted image of us and let them. We have a lot of things to be proud of, a lot of stories and achievements to share to the world. It’s time for us to speak up for our culture, country, traditions and reality.

“Every generation needs a new revolution and on 18 Nov 2009 Emiratweet was launched to revolutionize the Emirati” – Heba AlSamt (Angelistiic)

As an Emirati I’ve always wanted and wished to have a community that bring all Emiratis together to share, engage, speak up and gather. A community we call our own a place where we can “speakerize” our voice. Emiratweet has launched its website www.emiratweet.com , facebook group and twitter account (@emiratweet) to make it easy for contributions, cooperation and interaction also the first project and first contest has started too. The first project we named it “We Emiratis are … ” This project will help us (Emiratweet) know what we want? Because it’s hard to develop a reason behind a goal we don’t have, that is why the first thing we would do is know who we are and what we see ourselves as to create a clear defined goal and path. So far we have received a lot of contributions such as: “We Emiratis are respectful and talented individuals”, “We Emiratis are blessed” and “We Emiratis are ZAYED”. Also, we have started a contest for talented Emiratis to contribute something for the National Day. UAE Patriotism contest is for all the Emiratis to put their talents and creativity together and create something for our country on its 38 National Day.
