The last ten days of Ramadan!

Time is running and Ramadan is coming to its end. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we have now come to the grand finale it is known that the last ten days of Ramadan are more blessed than the rest of Ramadan. Since we are in the last ten days of Ramadan now, we all tend to spend it in constant worship, and du`aa’ as well as ask for Allah’s forgiveness mostly in lailat el qadr.
“The Night of Power which is described in the Quran as, “better than a thousand months” (97:3). Any action done on this night such as reciting the Quran, remembering Allah, etc. is better than acting for one thousand months which do not contain the night of Qadr”.
Because these are holly special days, particular actions are usually practiced. Muslims spend it in devotion, goes to the mosque to read Qur’an, recite special prayer and du’aa, work on getting sins wiped out, go for taraweeh, finish reading the whole Qur’an, and reflect on the meaning of Allah’s message to us.
So, Let us make the best of the remaining days that we have of this blessed month and recharge our sleeping souls as well as reform ourselves from sinners to humble slaves of Allah. Let us hold ourselves accountable, check up on our deeds and cure/repair ourselves ahead of the time when we are held accountable comes, when then we won’t have any chance to go back and change things. Who knows? This might be our LAST Ramadan! No one has the assurance that we would live till the next month? So let us strive hard to benefit from the few remaining days of this precious month!!
The whole month of Ramadan is a time of renewal and reflection. As the month breeze to a close, we pray that the spirit of Ramadan, and the lessons learned during it, last for all of us throughout the year. Therefore, let’s use it to change our destiny by being thankful, generous, seek acceptance, and not to forget to reflect and evaluate.

" … and not to forget to reflect and evaluate". That is so true. Certainly a sensation worth holding on to as we go hurtling through the other 11 months of the year.
Nice piece.
