UAE National Day

The people of the UAE, Emiratis and Expats celebrate the 38th National Day this year that marks the formation of the United Arab Emirates. All people whether women or men in universities, companies, establishments, schools and many areas are celebrating UAE’s National Day to show the whole world that we are a union. Our unforgettable father and founder Sheikh Zayed proved the glory and success of a federation that is an immortal achievement. Sheikh Zayed was the first statesman to call for a union to join the seven emirates (Abu Dhabi, Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah, Umm al-Quwain). “National Day reminds us of our founding fathers and their keenness to fulfil the nation’s hopes. The leader succeeded in bringing together the capabilities of his people, who followed him with loyalty and determination to create history, of which our nation and its people are proud”, Sheikh Saif said. Our leader created a success that is carried on by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Today in our National Day 38 we celebrate our union plus the great accomplishments along the past years. Even though our great late leaders Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum are not among us physically today, they’ll always be present in our hearts. They had placed a federation that will remain unforgettable during lifetime. Abu Dhabi, Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah, Umm al-Quwain citizens are all one hand facing all life obstacles and crisis together. Today we the UAE grow stronger and better with our leaders Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. We proudly say in spite of the weight of the consequences of the global financial crisis, the UAE’s wheel of progress and achievement did not stop turning and it never will when we have such leaders and people. As Sheikh Mohammed said “Ambitions will remain the ally of our plans, big goals will remain our objectives, nobility of our nation and welfare of the citizens will remain the compass that guides us and orientates our work.” Having such leaders make us proud and secured, also with all the media and social networks today we Emiratis are proud of those hashtags on twitter #uae38 #uaenationalday #uae38nationalday #UAE #emiratweet #iloveuaebecause #UAEfacts , and those websites www.emiratweet.com and www.nationaldayuae.com . Happy National Day and May God bless His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, preserve our unity, security and prosperity.
